GP Coaching
The Mid and South Essex Training Hub is delighted to announce that a coaching service for GPs in mid and south Essex has been commissioned. Coaching is a supportive and developmental process that enables an individual to unlock their full potential and achieve their personal and professional goals.
GPs undertake coaching for a variety of reasons. At an individual level a coachee can benefit from developing self-awareness, enhancing their confidence, relationships, performance, career progression and wellbeing. At a practice level this can translate into enhanced leadership and management skills, improved team working and work satisfaction.
The service is being delivered by the Royal College of General Practitioners. The RCGP understands the current challenges facing the profession and the context of your work. All coaching conversations are confidential, non-critical ad non-judgmental. Our experienced coaches are all current or recent members of the primary care team.
The coaching package includes:
- An initial 30-minute call with you coach to establish your relationship, discuss the coaching process and your goals.
- Four coaching sessions of 60-90 minutes duration via MS Teams, Skype or telephone.
- Support with tracking and evaluating your process.
The offer is open to all GPs working within Mid and South Essex in any capacity and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. To express an interest in this programme, please contact [email protected]
