New phlebotomy clinic available for Southend patients

We are running a blood-testing clinic in a former retail unit at the Victoria Shopping Centre in Southend, and would like to remind GPs it is available for routine adult bleeds.

The unit is in a convenient and accessible location, and initial patient feedback has been positive.

Parking – Available in the multi-storey car park at the Victoria Shopping Centre, which is around a five-minute walk from the clinic.

Urgent referrals have not changed – The phlebotomy services at Basildon, Broomfield and Southend hospitals continue to offer same-day urgent blood tests which support outpatient consultations and specialist tests.

Paediatric service has not changed yet – At a date to be confirmed, there will be an appointment-only paediatric service with a separate waiting area. Until then, paediatric appointments will continue to be available at:
