Job Alert - COVID-19 Ambassador Role

Support general practices with establishing and maintaining appropriate infection control and prevention levels in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and new variant epidemic. There have been several COVID-19 outbreaks in healthcare organisations across the region, including GP surgeries. Infection prevention and control measures are paramount to providing a COVID secure workplace and it can be difficult for smaller organisations, such as GP practices, to free up enough management time to keep up to date with procedures and ensure implementation and compliance.

The COVID-19 Ambassador role will act as external support to GP practices within the CCG locality to ensure the highest infection prevention standards are followed and minimise the risk of outbreaks and service closures.
